Service Descriptions:

  • Bridges:
    • Bridges are vital in protecting not only the balance of your bite and chewing motion, but the integrity of your facial features as well. A person who leaves missing teeth unattended may permanently alter the shape and contour of his or her face. Bridges easily restore not only the balance of the mouth, but typically look and feel as natural as your own teeth.
  • Crowns:
    • The affected tooth is reshaped so that it can be augmented by a natural-looking synthetic material, usually porcelain. This procedure is also beneficial for teeth that show wear and tear or are crooked.
  • Dentures:
    • To ensure the most natural and comfortable result, dentures must be custom fit to an individual's mouth and gums. Dentures that are correctly developed and fitted will restore a natural looking and secure bite and smile.
  • Implants:
    • Implants utilize a titanium or ceramic "root" positioned within the jawbone, to which an artificial tooth or crown is attached. Implants usually look and feel most like natural teeth of any replacement procedure.
  • Cosmetic Fillings:
    • There are different composite filling materials to choose from and you and your dentist should decide which one best suits your needs. Early detection of cavities is the best way to treat them, as many can be filled without the need of drilling or needles
  • Pediatric Preventive Care:
    • Preventive dentistry is perhaps the singularly most important role the pediatric dentist can play in your child's life. Beginning dental visits early is the key to success, as it helps and assists us in recognizing and warding off potential problems before they become serious.

Preventive dentistry means a happy and healthy child: a child who can chew food more easily and gain more nutrients from the foods they eat, a child who can speak more quickly and clearly, a child with confidence because they have a healthy smile and appearance. And of importance to you, as a parent, preventive dentistry means less extensive, and less expensive, treatment for you child.

Preventive dentistry begins with the first tooth, typically around one year of age. This is the time you should schedule your child's initial visit with us. We will teach you how to protect your child's dental health by providing a personalized program of brushing and flossing, thoroughly examining your child to detect any potential problem areas, diet counseling, and if necessary, fluoride recommendations. This will help ensure your child grows up as part of the cavity free generation. Remember, the earlier the dental visit, the better the chance of preventing dental disease in your child.

      Preventive dentistry for children includes:

      • brushing
      • dental development
      • flossing
      • fluorides
      • oral habits
      • parent involvement
      • proper diet
      • sealants
      • sports safety
      • regular dental visits
  • Whitening (gel solution):
    • We will make a tray to custom fit your teeth, to which a safe whitening agent is applied. The trays are worn anywhere from 30 minutes a day to overnight, depending on the solution you and your dentist find most suitable. Most patients notice results within a few applications.

  • Veneers:
    • This effective cosmetic procedure involves bonding a thin layer of porcelain to the prepared tooth surface. Veneers can make teeth look whiter, straighter and more evenly spaced, often in only two sessions. Most commonly used to fix cracked teeth and fill in the gap between the two front teeth.
  • Bonding:
    • A composite resin, the color of tooth enamel, can be used to repair fissures or chips and get rid of or diminish gaps. It is also be used to fill cavities while maintaining a more natural look than traditional fillings. Bonding is not usually as permanent as porcelain veneers.
  • Endodontal

    • Complete pain free root canal treatment Root canal treatment is carried out when the pulp (soft tissue inside a tooth) is either inflamed or dead. The pulp is a tissue made up of nerves, connective tissue and blood vessels. The purpose of root canal treatment is to remove the inflamed tissue or bacteria inside the root canal and thus allow the surrounding tissues to heal.
What are the symptoms that indicate the need for root canal therapy?

    • Symptom 1: Moderate to severe lingering toothache when having hot or cold foods.
    • Symptom 2: Toothache pain so intense it wakes you up at night.
    • Symptom 3: Pain when chewing or biting.
    • Symptom 4: Swelling on your gum which when pressed may release blood or pus.
    • Symptom 5: Pain that starts in one tooth and spreads to other regions of the jaw or head e.g. an infected lower molar (back tooth) may cause you to feel pain in the ear!
      * Sometimes, however there may be no symptoms. If properly performed and under normal circumstances, a root canal treated tooth can last you a lifetime
  • Periodontal
    • All patients need and deserve to have a complete periodontal examination and to have a complete record of their status recorded in their dental chart. This is the only way to ensure that advanced periodontal disease is detected; it provides a way to identify beginning changes in periodontal status that will benefit patients by initiating early and simple treatment. We are pleased to offer provide surgical and non surgical treatment of gum disease.
